Chilling at #CryoCon2024 with the industry's best! Dallas, Texas

I am just nicely back from an incredible couple of days at CryoCon in Dallas, Texas where I got to immerse myself in the fascinating world of whole-body cryotherapy and wellness.

Now in its fourth year, CryCon is the forum and THE event for the whole-body cryotherapy wellness industry. The moment I stepped off the plane and into the Expo, I was surrounded by experts, innovators, and enthusiasts who are revolutionising the way we think about our bodies and well-being. The energy in the air was electric (no pun intended).

As an early adopter and pioneer in whole-body cryotherapy - being the first to launch it in London with my high-end wellness clinic LondonCryo back in 2017 - this year I was especially delighted and proud to be invited to The CCM Initiative (The Cryo Chamber Manufacturers Initiative) industry dinner. The event, convened to discuss the important topic of the future of whole-body cryotherapy, was so inspiring to me in so many ways; with many experienced minds together sharing opinions and new, revolutionary ideas.  It was an honour and a definite highlight of my trip and I loved having a seat at the table amongst the industry's leading manufacturers.

The sessions at CryoCon were mind-blowing, too. I learned about the latest advancements in cryotherapy thanks to the manufacturers who have now come together to make our industry more accountable and raise industry standards – illustrating just how whole-body cryotherapy can positively impact our physical and mental health. The speakers shared their cutting-edge research, success stories, and practical tips for incorporating whole-body cryotherapy into our daily routines, as well as how we can improve the already excellent service we provide to our clients.

Undoubtedly, another highlight of my trip was the live demonstrations. I had the opportunity to experience cutting-edge, new modalities first-hand; like ‘Dry floating’ and ‘Dry Cryo’, ‘Roxiva’ and Brain Tap’to name just a few as well as the latest from Cryo Science, Cryobuilt, Mecotec with their electric chambers. Let me tell you, it was an invigorating experience like no other! The intense cold, followed by an immediate rush of warmth, left me feeling rejuvenated and energised.

Like with any industry event, CryoCon wasn't just about science and technology, it was also about connecting with like-minded individuals who share a passion for wellness. I met so many incredible people - from fellow entrepreneurs to healthcare professionals - all united by a common goal: to optimise our health and well-being.

Another advancement for the industry was meeting the team behind CryoApp Pascal Grillon. Cant say too much more about this right now but watch this space for what they are bringing to the whole body cryotherapy industry.

I also held my session for ‘Meet the Pros’ where I led a discussion on the importance of ‘Understanding Your Geographical Location’. This instigated a conversation about what to look out for when setting up a new location including, target markets, demographics, competitors’ analysis, accessibility and visibility, regulations, and market potential and growth.

All the networking events were fantastic, providing ample opportunities to exchange ideas, learn from each other's experiences, and forge new connections. I left CryoCon with a renewed sense of inspiration and a determination to incorporate many new techniques as well as improve what we already do at LondonCryo for our amazing clients.

I want to give a huge, heartfelt shoutout to the organisers, C.I.N.A Lars Lofstrand with @KellyCarden for putting together such an exceptional event. Their dedication and commitment to sharing knowledge and fostering innovation in the field of whole-body cryotherapy is truly commendable.

Newly energised by my inspirational (and fun!) time at CryoCon, as I dive deeper into the world of whole-body cryotherapy and wellness, get ready for some exciting updates and new modalities being introduced at LondonCryo.

I'm now armed with a wealth of knowledge and ideas to explore, and I can't wait to share my learnings with you all especially in the way of our book ‘Reinventing Cool: How to Make Cold Your Ally Against Inflammation, Pain, and Ageing’ published by O-Books and authored by myself and fellow cryotherapy expert who is also known as the ‘Godmother of Cryotherapy’ Antra Getzoff . Our book offers a unique, fascinating, and practical guide for all those who provide, use, or who are curious about the benefits of whole-body cryotherapy. Stay tuned for more on this very soon.
